APPLICATION GUIDELINES
If membership application have not been completed and paid through AYFjuniors.org your application will not be accepted.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Arrival & Departure are to be determined and will be provided no later than a week before departure.

VIDEO / PHOTOGRAPHY WAIVER

I hereby authorize Armenian Youth Federation Juniors (AYF Jr's) to publish the photographs and videos taken of me and/or the undersigned minor children, and our names, for use in the AYF Junior's printed publications, website and training purposes.

I release AYF Junior's from any expectation of confidentiality for the undersigned minor children and myself and attest that I am the parent or legal guardian of the children listed below and that I have the authority to authorize the AYF Junior's to use their photographs, videos and names.

I acknowledge that since participation in publications and websites produced by AYF Junior's is voluntary, neither the minor children nor I will receive financial compensation.

I further agree that participation in any publication and website produced by AYF Junior's confers no rights of ownership whatsoever. I release AYF Junior's, its contractors and its employees from liability for any claims by me or any third party in connection with my participation or the participation of the undersigned minor children.

CANCELLATIONS
Please note that no refunds will be issued for any cancellations.

CHILD'S HEALTH INFORMATION
I understand that if there are any changes to any of the medical, health or other information I provide in the application after I submit it, I will provide the updated information to a JCC member or the Educational Seminar Director in writing prior to my child's arrival at AYF Camp.

MEDICATIONS
If your child will need to take medication at any point during the Educational Seminar , please bring enough medication to last the entire time at camp. Keep it in the original packaging/bottle that identifies the prescribing physician (if a prescription drug), the name of the of the medication, the dosage, and the frequency of administration. NO MEDICATION OF ANY KIND IS TO BE LEFT WITH CAMPERS.

All medications (prescription and over-the-counter) must be given to the EMT at drop off and will be kept in the infirmary.

AGE POLICY
Campers must be between the ages of thirteen and sixteen. The maximum capacity provision of the camp will be strictly enforced. To secure your position, please apply early. All applications will be processed on a first-come-first-serve basis. Camp fees must be paid in full with the application. No checks or cash are accepted.

CABIN ASSIGNMENTS
Cabin assignments are determined solely by age and gender - No exceptions.

SNACK SHOP
Participation fee will include access to the snack bar.

TELEPHONE CALLS
We seek the counsel of parents when a camper is ill, abnormally homesick, or when something extraordinary occurs. Be sure to indicate, in the space provided on each form (Health, Camper Application), how we may reach you during the camp session.

In the case of an emergency or any extraordinary circumstance in which you need to reach your child, please call AYF CAMP at (760) 249-6590. Parents are not allowed to call the campground under any other circumstances.

VISITING CAMP
Visitors will not be permitted at any time.

WHAT TO BRING
Cabin space is limited and must be shared with other campers. Please limit baggage to ONE BAG. The following is a suggestion of amounts and types of clothing a camper should bring to camp. Old clothes are appropriate.

5 underwear, 1 jacket, 3-4 pairs of socks, 1 chap-stick, 1 hand towel, 1 sweaters, 1 pillow, 2 pairs of jeans/pants, 3-4 long/short sleeved shirts, 1 sleeping bag, 1 flashlight, 2 pairs of shoes, Personal items: Comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, soap and sunscreen.

PLEASE DO NOT PACK EXCESS BAGGAGE.

WHAT NOT TO BRING
The following items are NOT PERMITTED and will be confiscated:
1) Food (i.e. snacks, candy, sodas)
2) Weapons (i.e. firearms, pocket knives, blades)
3) Electronic equipment (i.e. iPods, iPads, laptops)
4) CELL PHONES
5) Drugs/cigarettes/electronic cigarettes/alcoholic beverages

AYF Camp is a Drug, Alcohol and Tobacco Free Environment.

THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CAMP DIRECTORS/JUNIORS CENTRAL COUNCIL IS TO DETERMINE IF A CAMPER NEEDS TO BE SENT HOME FOR POSSESSING ANY OF THE ABOVE ITEMS.

CAMPER RULES & REGULATIONS
Follow all directions given by the director(s) and counselors.
NO weapons (including Swiss Army Knives, etc.)
NO cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, alcoholic beverages, or drugs.
NO leaving the campgrounds.

NO food or beverages.

NO destruction or stealing other’s property, including the touching of other’s personal belongings without their permission.

NO fighting.

NO use of foul language.

NO vandalizing or destruction of camp property.(Parents will be liable for any damage done by their children).

NO writing on camp property (i.e. walls).

NO shaving cream.

NO phones.

NO electronic devices (stereos, iPods, iPads, etc.)

NO use of the pool.

Dispose of trash appropriately. You are responsible for the cleanliness of the facilities you are using.

NO visitors allowed at anytime.

Camp is intended for campers, counselors and directors ONLY.

Late arrivals and early departures are prohibited.

The cabins are to be swept and trash is to be emptied daily.

Campers violating any of these rules and regulations can be sent home at the discretion of the director and/or prohibited from attending future camps. Parents will be expected to pick up their child should any of these rules be broken.

REGISTERING MULTIPLE SIBLINGS
Given that space is limited and we cannot exceed capacity even by one camper, please complete the Educational Seminar application early. This is especially the case if you are applying for multiple children, to ensure that all siblings are accepted. You must complete the registration process in full for each child you are applying for.

Cancellation Policy:

No refunds will be given for any cancellation.

If for any reason CDC Guidelines change and require us to cancel or modify attendance numbers all applicants will receive a full refund.
